35,000 runners flock to Portugal’s capital every year for the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon and Vodafone 10k, creating a festival of sport and making this Portugal’s biggest running event.
The course follows the shores of the River Tagus, with an unforgettable start crossing the impressive 25 de Abril bridge and a finish overlooked by the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos monument. The race attracts athletes from all walks of life and at a range of ability levels, from elites to first time runners.
Recently EDP Lisbon Half Marathon celebrated its 30th edition, along with the Vodafone 10km, with a new world record of 57:21! Now you have the opportunity to experience this great race virtually and get your hands on the limited edition 30th anniversary medals & t-shirts that witnessed the new world record being set.
You can run your race anytime from 22nd November 2021 until 28th of February 2022, however, registrations close on February 27th 2022. If you need more than one day to complete the distance, submit images of all your completed runs.

We have replicated both the Half Marathon and 10k official course so that all virtual runners can run the exact same route.
Along the way, and as you complete more of the route, unique content will be unlocked so that you can learn, see and hear sights and sounds of this fantastic City.
Both start at the Toll's Square of the Bridge (Ponte 25 De Abril), before taking you through the north area of the city to downtown Lisbon, crossing emblematic historical monuments and river side views. Finishing in front of the "Mosteiro dos Jerónimos".
